Teething-relief Ice Blocks (Vegan)
Healthy five minute Ice Blocks any toddler will love!
The main reason I made these Ice Blocks for Indigo was to help her with teething pain. Poor girl is having a hard time with her teeth coming through veeeerrryy slowly.
But, you could totally mix up the recipe with pretty much anything. Just think frozen smoothies! They will go down a treat any day, teething or no teething ;)
I absolutely love getting Indigo involved in the kitchen as much as possible, even tho this means slower progress and more mess to clean hahahahaha. But I think it’s so important for her to see that yummi things can be homemade and get an understanding of what goes into it.
Her adding things, peeling, snacking, blending also means she has a sense of ownership and pride over what we made and is therefore much more likely to eat it with joy.
1/4 Cup strong Chamomile tea left to cool
1 Cup Coconut milk
1/2 Ripe Banana
2 Drops dōTERRA Tangerine essential oil (I use this brand as it’s food safe and of purest quality).
Blend everything then freeze in little reusable Ice Block containers.
Like I said, feel free to have fun with this.
Try adding berries or even spinach, other doTERRA oils that could work nicely too are: Wild Orange, Peppermint or Lemon.
